Check out the awesome music videos for "Stop, Drop and Roll!" and "Mother Mary" on YouTube. Hurry before Warner decides to take them down again! They should've been released, in my opinion. Enjoy!

~Some videos from the PINHEAD GUNPOWDER show are finding their way on to YouTube. Here is one from the sing-a-long at the beginning of the show. Also, Gilman tweeted updates throughout the night. If you use twitter, please follow them @924GILMAN.

Last night Billie Joe and Jason White hooked up with their sideband Pinhead Gunpoweder to play some gigs at 924 Gilman Street, Green Day's old stomping ground. It was a benefit concert for a friend of thiers who has breast cancer. You can check out Pictures and Video here on the Green Day Authority. Personally, I think Billie wears a dress pretty well. :D Great to see them out again!

American Idiot Musical Theater Reviews
Posted by Delfina

~When I last posted, there was only one review of the American Idiot musical. Many, more positive, ones have come out. The SF Gate: “Never has the Roda appeared more expansive yet bursting with images and action.” More from the Mercury News, Rolling Stone.

The New York Times has an article, but says that “No national critics have been permitted to see the production yet.”

A nice essay and more links, including this video interview, on Green Day Mind.

And an insider view from Berkeley Rep Blog, with photos of Billie Joe the hairdresser.

I want to see this thing, but I live halfway across the country. ;D What a cruel twist of fate, ha ha. I’m happy it’s getting good reviews; apparently there’s a blurb in Rolling Stone about it, as well. And Billie Joe the hairdresser- is there anything the man can’t do? :)

You know, I think if he wasn’t a rock star, he’d be a hairdresser, not a drug dealer like he normally says. I can totally see him as a hairdresser, too! Thanks for the mention! I speculate too much about a show move I think, but all the signs for a leap to B’way. I’ll have my own review of it next week after I see it on the 25th. I really hope I like it….

Ugh… I meant to say “all the signs for a leap to B’way are there.”
