Check out the awesome music videos for "Stop, Drop and Roll!" and "Mother Mary" on YouTube. Hurry before Warner decides to take them down again! They should've been released, in my opinion. Enjoy!

Last night Billie Joe and Jason White hooked up with their sideband Pinhead Gunpoweder to play some gigs at 924 Gilman Street, Green Day's old stomping ground. It was a benefit concert for a friend of thiers who has breast cancer. You can check out Pictures and Video here on the Green Day Authority. Personally, I think Billie wears a dress pretty well. :D Great to see them out again!

Reviews of Green Day in London
Posted by Delfina

~The Guardian, one of my favorite newspapers, has a thoughtful review of Green Day in London: “It’s all perfectly pitched, and unexpectedly fantastic”

Two lukewarm reviews: [1, 2].

I can’t believe the reviewer in the Telegraph said that the energy drained from the room during those songs, particularly Welcome to Paradise. I was at the very front, at Mike’s feet, so that may have been why I was so energetic, but I swear, when WTP started, the entire stadium exploded. As to Novacaine, it began a little strangely, it was hard to figure out what the song was at first, but by the time it built to the climax, the auditorium was singing loudly. And that song is stodgy? Uh, ok. Anyway, take it from me, I will always tell you the truth, both London shows were amazing. I had the greatest time, and the 2nd London night was the best show that I had seen on the concert tour.

The first night started a bit late because of a Tube accident, and that threw them off just a bit, but they picked it back up. I’m so happy I went. My ears still hurt. I’m going to write up some fuller reviews, but really, great shows.

A could of us did get there after they took off to Sheffield (I am so sad I can’t go to Halloween in Manchester, sigh), but we went on Monday and we forgot that the gallery was closed that day. But the gallery is small and so is the art show, so we saw it through the window. Not much to see, though, maybe no more than 20 paintings and the show looks pretty good on the website.
